TRUCK-MOUNTED SPREADER DESIGN
The Hilltip IceStriker™ 3000-7000 is a 12V/24V electric sand and salt spreader for trucks. It’s designed for 7.5-26 ton vehicles, with the choice of auger or conveyor chain as a feed mechanism. The lightweight, durable modular poly hopper and mounted parts in stainless steel provide long-lasting protection against corrosion.
This unique truck-mounted sand and salt spreader with the advanced HTrack™ tracking and control system as standard feature helps you save money and reduce environmental impacts while achieving superior de-icing results.
Optionally STRIKESMART™ -PLUS and TEMPSTRIKER™ features weather forecast information and current air, road and dew point temperature information. The control system automatically suggests optimum spread rate for the driver, that will ensure world class ice control performance and road safety.

LIQUID DE-ICING FUNCTIONS AND BRINE SPRAYERS FOR TRUCKS
The IceStriker™ truck-mounted spreader is versatile, and it can easily be transformed into a complete liquid de-icing spreader or into a pre-wet combi salt spreader. Its integrated double-walled tanks can store up to 1,400 litres of liquid. This salt and sand spreader for trucks can be equipped with a 2-metre spray bar and a hose reel with a handheld spray nozzle. The IceStriker™ 2,600-7,000 litre spreaders can be equipped with additional liquid tanks ( 1000 l/tank) for added capacity.

 COLOR SCREEN CONTROLLER
The controller lets you customize your spreading session according to your current situation. Automatic GPS speed control adjusts the amount of spreading material (g/m2) according to your vehicle speed, while manual mode lets you insert a fixed auger speed. The controller additionally collects and saves essential data to an USB memory, allowing you to generate spreading reports. The controller also makes it easy to turn on functions, like vibrator, beacon and work light, from inside the cabin.

12V/24V DUAL MOTORS
12V (standard) or 24V (optional) volt dual motors, mounted inside a sealed weather-resistant enclosure.

VIBRATOR
Vibrator prevents bridging and de-icing material from clogging by shaking the inverted Vee.

INVERTED V
Inverted-V helps reduce heavy start-up loads on the auger/conveyor. All in stainless steel.
