The largest of Hyundai’s compact excavator models, the HX85A fills a transitional spot in its overall excavator product line between the compact and full-sized models. MONITOR
The advanced new large 7" touch screen LCD cluster monitor allows the operator to select his personal machine preferences. Button selections are provided for auto idle shutdown mode, max power mode, and travel speed. The view from the optional rearview camera and a slope sensor can also be displayed on the monitor for additional operating safety and performance awareness. A security feature is also provided to prevent the machine from starting without a proper password.

SUSPENSION SEAT
The HX85A operator's cab is designed for a comfortable operating experience. An ergonomically designed suspension seat, adjustable armrests and a spacious environment helps to minimize operator fatigue.

ERGONOMIC CONTROLS & SWITCHES
The left and right control levers are ergonomically located for convenient access. Pilot operated hand levers are easily accessible for controlling the dozer blade and track extension. Easy-to-access control switches on the left side console improve operating comfort and productivity.

CAB ENTRY
A tiltable left-side console allows the operator easier access to the cab. A safety lock system is designed to prevent exiting the cab while hydraulic controls are live. When the safety lever and left side console are positioned upright, hydraulic functions are disengaged.

Hyundai compact excavators were designed with bushings designed for extended lube intervals (250 hrs) & polymer shims (wear-resistant, noise-reducing), extended-life hydraulic filters (1,000hrs), long-life hydraulic oil (5,000hrs), more efficient cooling systems and integrated preheating systems which extend service intervals, minimize operating costs and reduce machine downtime.
