The IXA actuator Incisor tree shear models will give you an impressive 180 degree radius to shear limbs and trees with exceptional versatility—whether you need to fell a tree in the vertical position or cut a limb horizontally. The 180 degree helical actuator has incredible positioning and holding power, for the best control over your cutting operations. Every pivoting Incisor model is equipped with two individually moving grabber arms and a fixed curved cradle bar that allows you to securely move the sheared limbs to your desired safe location.

Tough, Reliable AR400 Steel
The Incisor is made from tough, abrasion-resistant AR400 steel. This grade of steel alloy is strong enough to handle the labours of tree shearing.

Grabber Arms
The G designation on our Incisor tree shear models refers to the grabber feature. Standard on the IXA models are two individually moving grabber arms and a fixed curved cradle bar that allows you to securely move the sheared limbs to your desired safe location.

Heavy Cutting
Capable of cutting and clearing multiple varieties of softwoods, the robust Incisor is equally adept at tackling and taking down tough hardwood trees like oak, ash and maple.

180 DEGREE HELICAL ROTARY ACTUATOR
For precise positioning and holding power, the entire head of the Incisor swivels hydraulically up to 180 degrees. The advanced design of the helical rotary actuator gives you the ability to cut from multiple angles with total control.

Optional Hand Control
For simple and easy operation, the optional in-cab hand control is available with Baumalight's Auxiliary Electrical Connection. This quick connection gives you access to all of the attachment's functions using your excavator's own controls.

Grease Pins on All Pivot Points
The IXA Incisor model features grease pins on all pivot points, reducing the risk of equipment damage and providing long life and easy servicing.

Protected Hose
All hydraulic hoses are sleeved for operator protection and routed internally, keeping them out of harm's way. The connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armour for double protection while a pivoting arm reduces slack and safeguards the hoses from pinching and strain.

HARDENED STEEL BUSHING
Spring Bushings made from high grade chrome-vanadium AISI 6150 spring steel on all main pivot points.
