TURBOCHARGED POWER

Boosting the performance of the proven Rotax 1000R engine with the industry's first factory-installed turbocharger enables the Maverick MAX X ds TURBO to produce an impressive 131 HP. The electronically controled wastegate automatically adjusts boost pressure for optimal performance in any condition and even maintains full performance at altitudes up to 5,000-ft. Paired to the turbo is an air-to-air Intercooler with built-in fan to keep cooled air flowing to the engine even in the most demanding conditions. To keep up with the added pressure in the engine, new low pressure forged pistons have been added for long-lasting performance. Finally, the new high capacity injectors ensure a better fuel delivery, providing an optimal air/fuel mixture to improve performance.

INNOVATIVE REAR SUSPENSION

The innovative Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension is a compact version of a five-link suspension featuring no bump steer and low scrub. This all translates to a more controlled wheel movement, optimal bump absoprtion and tire-to-ground contact for predictable handling. Compact design means low unsprung weight for quicker suspension reaction to changing terrain. Its 16 in. (40.6 cm) of travel will provide a smooth ride at hard-charging paces or in technical terrain.

These new high-performance front and rear FOX 2.5 PODIUM QS3 shocks allows riders to easily dial-in their suspension setup tool-free. Through a 3-position knob, suspension can be easily adjusted depending on the terrain or your riding preference. Turn the knob to position 1 to get a smooth compression optimizing comfort and performance for the long rides, or go to position 3 to get that high-performance race-ready suspension.

The performance beadlock wheels use a mechanical fastening system that makes it nearly impossible for the tire bead to break loose from the wheel during heavy acceleration or cornering. Proven 28-in. (71.1 cm) , 6-ply Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires feature sturdy lugs and a non-directional tread pattern for a smooth and confident ride over a variety of surfaces.
