In response to customer feedback and continued market demand for quality conventional tillage implements, Great Plains has released its new and improved 7000 Series Disk Harrow. After enduring intense field tests over several tillage seasons, the new 7000 Series Disk is ready to take on all contenders in the highly-competitive disk harrow market.

Like its predecessor, the 7000 Series Disk Harrow delivers the reliability and performance Great Plains customers have come to expect. Its double offset gang configuration remains one of the most effective methods to mechanically eliminate weeds while re-leveling rutted fields.

Additionally, farmers will appreciate the time and money savings the Great Plains 7000 Series Disk Harrow delivers through its maintenance-free pivot points and bearings, resulting in an implement that is "grease zerk free."

Product Features

SPRING-OFFSET C-SHANKS

Offset C-shanks cushion the gangs and protect the unit. The offset design maximizes the clearance between the disc blades to help prevent plugging.

SPRING-LOADED SCRAPERS

Standard scrapers are spring loaded; quickly make them rigid by tightening a bolt.

INCREASED TIRE AND HUB CAPACITY

All transport tires are radial tires and carry loads at 73 psi. Units also feature 8-bolt hubs on center and wings, with up to 8000-pound capacity for improved reliability.

IMPROVED GROUND CLEARANCE

The 7000 Series Disk now has 13" of transport clearance.

IMPROVED GANG BARS

Stronger 4" x 6" gang bars have polygon bushings and hardened pins for greaseless hinge points. Four bolt attachment plates and cradle gussets relieve stress on gang tubes.

HYDRAULIC GAUGE WHEELS

Eliminates the need to adjust gauge wheels when depth is changed. Eliminates gouging and wing hop. (29', 33', and 36' models only)

Exclusive Maintenance-Free Bearings

Great Plains uses the exclusive PEER® TILLXTREME® Maintenance-Free Pillow-Block Bearings in its gangs, as well as smaller TILLXTREME Maintenance-Free Bearings in its rolling attachments.

Design ensures complete center cutout and eliminates the need for a middle breaker.
