The LB4 series large square baler isn’t just another pretty piece of equipment: it is designed from the ground up for long life and superior performance. On the outside, the unique curved shape allows it to shed crop debris. The baler width has been reduced by 2 feet to improve visibility to the rear and sides of the baler and takes up less space on the road and in the shed. Composite side panels are lighter, rust proof and fade resistant. And underneath that curvy red exterior is an amazing workhorse that has more capacity than its forerunners. |

Pick up designed for capacity and reliability
The wide pick ups and the new pick up flares ensure crop isn’t left behind
The roller windguard provides an even flow of crop material into the baler
The roller windguard is adjustable up and down with out the use of any tools
The Feed assist roller directs crop material directly into the pre-chamber of the baler optimizing crop flow
The feed assist roller works in conjuction with the overshot stub augers to consistently move material from the sides of the pick up into the pre-chamber.

Durability & wear life
The pick up has been re-designed for increased durability and wear life
Strengthened frame and pick up reel to handle tough conditions
Coil mounted tines are shot peened to stand up to adverse conditions with out bending or breaking
Overall the combination of the roller windguard, feed assist roller and overshot augers provide optimum feeding and result in high capacity feeding |

It uses a large rotor to feed crop from the pickup through a row of knives before entering the precompression area.
Knives give the desired length of cut
Put all knives in place; get the shortest cut: 1.53 in. (39 mm)
Knives are controlled hydraulically from the tractor seat
Easily inspect, sharpen or change rotor cutter knives with a convenient slide-out knife drawer
Knives are spring loaded to protect them from damage |
Pack it in and stack 'EM High
Match your baler to your tractor and then match your bales to your feed, shipping and storage needs. Case IH LB4 series large square balers form bales that stack perfectly and are denser, thanks to things like left and right steering sensors that you can observe through your AFS Pro 700 display and quickly and easily adjust for perfect bale formation. In addition, a removable floor liner adjusts to different crop types. Adjust to your specifications, whether you’re baling for your own livestock or running a commercial hay operation.
