Overview
The unique blade design of the 42-inch "A" mulch deck uses both positive and negative blade angles to achieve a unique balance between both lift and down pressure to give a good cut and recirculation of the cut material to the lawn. A "recutting" chamber at the front of the deck and "breathing" holes allow material to be reintroduced to the cutting blades while keeping neutral air pressure depending on cutting conditions. When matched with the B-series tractors, this deck is very productive.
