BOOST YOUR PRODUCTIVITY, FUEL SAVINGS AND COMFORT.
 
The versatile new E55Bx compact excavator not only allows you to excavate, grade and backfill with one machine, it allows you to save fuel and time while doing it.
The E55Bx features a new fuel-saving mode that reduces fuel consumption by 20% compared to high-idle mode.
You position the throttle to one of three positions—low, “S” for fuel-saving, and “H” for high idle. 
NEW INDR FOR QUIET COMFORT
 
Here’s something you won’t find on most compact excavators—an Integrated Noise and Dust Reduction (iNDR) cooling system. The system reduces noise by up to 9 dB.
 
The filter located in front of the radiator is easy to remove and clean with compressed air and reduces the need for direct cleaning of the radiator.​​
NEW DOWNWARD EXHAUST PROTECTS PLANTS
 
Specify the iNDR+E option to eliminate worry that plants, trees or structures will be damaged by heated exhaust.
Instead of discharging heated exhaust wind and exhaust gas to the side where it can dry nearby shrubs and plants, the design of the new +E option draws air from the front of the machine and discharges it under the machine using a diffusion muffler for reduced air force.
 
E55Bx Highlights 3 ​ZERO TAIL SWING

 With zero tail swing, the E55Bx allows you to work in the most restricted areas. The center-swing boom arm lets you dig, fill and grade along near-perpendicular angles like footings and curbs. Plus, the boom light is now positioned snugly under the boom, not on the side where it could be damaged.
E55Bx Highlights 4 HEAVY-DUTY DESIGN 

Quality construction and components ensure reliability in tough working conditions. Features include a tough boom and arm, thick, cast-iron swing bracket and a strong cab structure.
E55Bx Highlights 5 PERSONALIZED COMFORT

Choose a 4-post ROPS/canopy or fully enclosed cab with standard air conditioning.
Both give you a clear all-direction view, and ergonomically placed controls for easy operation.

Choose conventional analog monitor or the optional new LCD color monitor that provides easy tracking of operations and maintenance.
It displays operational achievement of past 3 months, fuel level, water temperature and includes replacement indicators for engine oil, fuel filter, hydraulic oil filter, hydraulic oil.
E55Bx Highlights 6 PUSH-BUTTON SPEED CHANGES

Two-speed travel makes changing speeds as easy as pressing a button on the right travel lever.
E55Bx Highlights 7 DOZER CAPABILITY
