The pneumatic seed drill for small and medium-sized farms

The Solitair 8 is ideal for small and medium-sized farms that are looking for a cost-efficient way of using high-precision pneumatic seed drill technology for conventional and conservation tillage. It is available in working widths of 3, 3.5 and 4 metres and can be universally used, as it can be combined with various implements for active and passive soil cultivation.

  • The metering system is mechanically driven via a maintenance-free cardan shaft and a continuously variable gearbox. This ensures the smooth operation of the cell wheels in the metering unit and thus the precise longitudinal distribution of seeds.
  • The seed hopper, which holds up to 1,850 litres, has a stable centre of gravity and can be easily filled via the wide inlet.
  • The hydraulically driven blower fan can be continuously adjusted and reliably provides a sufficient flow of air to move seeds along. This ensures consistently even metering and precise seeding.
  • LEMKEN offers the parallelogram-guided double disc coulter with depth control wheel for precise seed placement.
  • The Easytronic electronic control system, which forms part of the standard equipment, facilitates the preparation of tramlines and the adjustment of seeding rates.
