The dual-stage HSS622CTD features a convenient 12 VDC electric start with on-board battery making it ready to go anywhere and anytime without a power source nearby. It’s powered by an ultra-robust, GX160T2, 4-stroke, overhead valve (OHV) Honda engine. It clears a 55 cm (21.7 in.) path, throws snow up to 14 m (46 ft.)* and has a 2-speed-plus-reverse, gear-driven transmission that is now twice as fast than the previous model thus improving the ground speed. The auger is shaft driven through a dry, multi-disc clutch, so there are no belts to worry about. The two tracks are also shaft driven and have 3 height settings that can raise or lower the auger housing for varying snow and surface conditions.

 

Other features include simple and easy-to-use controls, including handlebar mounted remote throttle and choke controls, a work light for enhanced visibility in the morning and at night, a single-lever chute control, compact low-profile design for easy manoeuvring, and adjustable skid shoes.
