Cab

Operator Environment

The cab is well-appointed and offers efficient space to operate this level of self-propelled sprayer. Whether driving or spraying, the layout and location of controls is user friendly. Six air outlets in the ceiling lining directs climatically controlled air throughout the cab to maintain cab comfort.

A radio mp3 player with speakers positioned in the four quarters of the ceiling lining delivers quality sound. The system includes USB, SD card slots and is Bluetooth compatible.The overhead console houses the light and wiper switch controls.The right side window panel opens wide to provide external access to the right side of the sprayer. The steering console pivots in two places to provide the most comfortable driving position. The engine management monitor and engine warning lights are integrated into the console.

Fluid System

Mixing, filling and transfer

Loading is fast, efficient and easy. The controls are within easy reach and are logically placed. Two color-coded SmartValves operate the primary filling, spraying and cleaning functions. Fast, high-capacity filling is through two 2" camlock couplings, one to the maintank and the other to the rinse tank. Main tank is filtered.

Loading chemicals is safe and easy via a high capacity TurboFiller that is lowered to provide access. The turbo deflector in the bottom of the TurboFiller creates a powerful liquid vortex which thoroughly mixes the chemical into a solution before it is transferred. The HARDI fluid system is fully integrated with slide pin, O-ring sealed manifold valves and is driven by the Ace 650 WetSeal RunDry centrifugal pump.

Chassis, Engine & Power train

Ride

PRESIDIO gives outstanding operatorcomfort and ride. To protect the sprayer and provide a smooth ride for best boom performance the PRESIDIO is equipped with compact front and rear air bag suspension and hydraulic shock absorber dampening.

The rear axle oscillates to maintain traction on all 4 driving wheels. PRESIDIO ground clearance is standard at 53". Mechanical track width adjustment is 94" to 120". Optional mudguards give added benefit to keep the machine clean.

Boom

EAGLE Boom

EAGLE boom is renown in broadacre and row crop applications, offering unequalled performance in rough conditions. Available in sizes from 75 to 90 feet, the EAGLE is a strong two dimension truss construction supported by fast acting paralift boom height control. Individual wing tilt is standard for tilting the boom wing on headlands, over obstiacle and to keep the boom out of harm’s way. A non-directional spring loaded breakaway system protects the boom from damage.

Controls

Application Control

Spraying is easy with all the operational and application controls at your fingertips. On the driver’s seat console is the forward reverse hydrostatic control joystick On-the-go 3 speed range selector, engine-rev dial and cruise control work together to provide a smooth accurate forward speed.

Engine revs can be stored in memory and set at the press of a button. A foot brake alongside a foot accelerator allows the PRESIDIO to accelerate and stop like a conventional vehicle. The in-cab HC 8500 application controller platform provide the highest level of performance and application precision with function & rate control at you finger tips.
