SPF9 | SPL9 - Large semi-mounted ploughs

Like all Grégoire-Besson ploughs, the SPSF and SPEF ranges were designed and built to work in extreme conditions while providing the user operation cost control. To achieve this goal, we use quality materials (high strength steels), take special care on welded assemblies and install  sufficiently dimensioned subcomponents. These are the factors that will make your plow an easy to use and reliable tool.
 Features

SPEF - electronic:

  • Articulated front coupling:
  • Facilitates maneuvers in and out of fields.
  • Straight furrow entry and exit.

SPSF - mecanical:

  • Articulated carriage:
  • The plough follows strictly the curves of the terrain
  • Regular work whatever slope of the field

Self locking articulation:

  • Locked for transportation.
  • Blocks the articulation in difficult conditions (rigid frame)
  • Unblocks to follow the terrain

Maximum productivity:

  • Up to 14 bodies.

Articulated front end:

  • Turning angle over 110°.
  • Improved grip.
  • Improved transportation comfort

Couplings:

  • Several coupling systems are available (fixed, automatic, with or without depth wheel)

Moulded beam supports:

  • Mechanically welded one-piece body (long lasting elements).
  • Molded hollow stanchion: Increases strength (shock absorption).
  • The curve of the stanchions and the leading body struts helps evacuate vegetation waste.
  • The leading body strut is angled forward. This means height adjustment does not change the distance between the leading body and the mould board.

Rack and pinion front end

  • Reliable and comfortable.
  • Smooth turning

Working width

  • Manual setting
  • Setting of working width is independant for each body. A 5 position bolted axis gives from 12 to 20 inches width for 100mm between bodies and from 14 to 22 inches for 114mm between bodies.

Modular beam

  • Permits adding an extra body at the front or rear of the plough.
