S3 CYLINDER HEAD
Forged from the best quality aluminum, the S3 cylinder head is manufactured with thicker walls and a higher water flow to ensure a maximum cooling rate. Increasing compression, it ensures more torque, even when riding in ‘thin air’ at higher altitudes. |
CYLINDER & PISTON
We use a high-performance forged piston fitted into the 72.5mm bore cylinder on our TXT GP 250. Guaranteeing maximum performance and durability it ensures strong, torquey power each and every ride. EXHAUST SYSTEM

When fitted to a silencer that is configured to be exactly like those on our race team bikes, it creates a formidable exhaust system. |
TRANSMISSION
The lightest gearbox in any trial bike on the market and another patented GASGAS part! The 4/6 system allows riders to select from 6 gears when there are only 4 gears on the internal transmission shaft. Ensuring all TXT GP bikes are technologically advanced, they reduce weight and allow for super compact crankcases. |
CRANKSHAFT
Perfectly balanced to deliver optimized inertia, the TXT GP 250 crankshaft is precisely positioned within the crankcases to ensure riders can rely on instant power and enjoy a super agile ride. Key to the motor delivering great traction, it also helps give the bike its much-loved, agile handling. To increase durability, we use a closed main bearing made by SKF with the strong aluminum connecting rod that uses two needle bearings for durability. |
CRANKCASE
Designed so that the internal parts and shafts within the motor are carefully positioned to boost the bike’s overall handling characteristics, the gravity casting process used to make our crankcases ensures they are super lightweight and extremely tough. Ensuring an improved seal, we use a central locating pin and a new central seal. Also, the clutch cover includes the clutch master cylinder, further highlighting the overall compact nature of the motor. |
CLUTCH
To ensure a perfect, progressive action each and every time, all TXT GP models are fitted with the GASGAS 1/3 compact hydraulic clutch, which consisting of 3 Kevlar friction plates, 2 steel plates and a Belleville spring system for a guaranteed perfect operation each and every time. Allowing riders to build revs and deliver exact amounts of power to the rear wheel, the reliable, high-quality system also guarantees even wear, near maintenance-free operation and perfect action on every ride and in all weathers. |

Features & Benefits PARTS BRAKTEC BRAKES Complete braking confidence with a sensitive and progressive feel. That’s what the Braktec braking systems fitted to all TXT GP models ensures. The front 4-piston caliper features a 185mm front waved disc by NG while the rear 2-piston caliper features a 150mm NG FIM disc. Both deliver impressive stopping power. The rear brake system features patented magnetic brake pads, which stay open when the wheel is removed. Pretty neat, right! |
S3 forged steel Hard Rock pegs
Offering three different options, the adjustable, large platform Hard Rock pegs from S3 offer standard, forwards and backwards positioning options. Ensuring riders can fine-tune their bike depending on personal preference and riding conditions, they allow for a precise, individual set-up. |
INTEGRATED COOLING SYSTEM, FAN AND RADIATORS
Cool running motors produce the best power, that’s why our TXT GP bikes use an aluminum radiator together with a 115mm electrical, and waterproof, fan, with a thermostat to ensures a stable and constant coolant temperature. Red, double-layered silicone cooling hoses complete the robust and effective cooling system. |
WHEELS
We use a simple but effective recipe when making our trial wheels. Mix CNC machined hubs with lightweight spokes and zinc plated steel nipples and connect them to high-strength aluminum rims by Morad! The result is super strong wheels that ensure an ultimate combination of strength, performance and reliability. A super lightweight 160 gram aluminum front axle guarantees riders have absolute front wheel confidence. |
TYRES
Michelin’s super-light X11 tires connect all of our TXT GP bikes to the rocks, mud and obstacles beneath them. The best in the business, they feature super-pliable knobbles that together with low pressures offer exceptional grip. |

IGNITION / ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Fitted as standard with a map switch that changes engine character according to rider preference, weather and terrain type, and an AC Alternator that delivers more energy for a better spark, the TXT GP ignition and electrical system also uses no battery. Both the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and ignition coil are specifically positioned to be well protected and out of sight. A 3.4 kilogram rotor helps ensure maximum motor torque. |
