Red Dot Design Award 2016. The Fendt 1000 Vario has received the Red Dot, the international award for high design quality. An international Red Dot jury only awards the coveted seal of quality to products that clearly distinguish themselves through their outstanding design.


iF Design Award Gold 2016. The international jury of design experts awarded the Fendt 1000 Vario a gold medal in the category “Product”. The criteria for evaluation included design quality, functionality, craftsmanship, degree of innovation, user-friendliness/ergonomics, brand design, safety and environmental compatibility. The Fendt 1000 Vario convinced the jury through its design concept as well as its performance in operation.

Tractor of the Year 2016. The new Fendt 1000 Vario is not only a highlight of the exhibition, but also the hit of the year. The trade press confirmed this with the “Tractor of the Year 2016” award.

The Fendt 1000 Vario always runs in the maximum torque range for the lowest specific fuel consumption, which means that high power is already delivered at low engine speeds. “High torque, low engine speed” is the principle under which all vehicle components, such as the engine, transmission, fan, hydraulics and all consumers, were designed for ideal speeds.
