ProCut Option

Bale at more efficiently with this high-capacity Hesston-built rotor cutter upgrade.

Chain Driven

Simple reliable low- maintenance chain drives ensure proper timing and reduced downtime. In the event a failure happens to one of the chain drives, repair parts are easily located and economically priced.

Knotter Fan

A hydraulically driven, transverse-impeller knotter fan, powered by the on-board hydraulic system, this helps keep the knotters free of debris to reduce down time and simplify the service process.

OptiForm™

The 2270XD and 2290 balers are equipped with the Optiform bale chamber. The Optiform bale chamber is 16” longer than the standard chamber to improve bale shape and consistency to ensure the bales stack, transport and store easily.

In-line design

Keeps hay moving in a straight line from the wide, low-profile pickup through the baler to the bale chute.

Bearings

Increased number of sealed and tapered bearings means fewer service points and a 50-hour service interval.

Side shields

Streamlined, one-piece side shields seal the twine boxes when closed to reduce crop build-up.
