A Cab Built For You

Everything about our cab is more intuitive and user-friendly. The layout is spacious and more comfortable for the operator. The headliner has been enhanced for better visibility, and everything is easier to access. Main switches and controls have all been ergonomically placed within easy reach.

Enhanced Header Drive

You want to maximize chopping capability with minimum hassle, so we’ve enhanced our header drive system to push more horsepower where it’s needed most. Our double-clutch system improves the torque that can be delivered to the header and coupled with the three-groove header drive pulley and belt, helps provide 20% more horsepower (180 hp) than previous machines.

Hydraulic Cleaning Fan Drive

Our variable-speed hydraulic fan drive provides capacity without complexity. A wider speed range — from 100 RPM to 1,350 RPM — means you can adjust air velocity for enhanced cleaning performance increasing flexibility to harvest far more crop types in any condition.

Multi-Stage Cleaning

The multi-stage stratified cleaning process uses forced air to deliver full-length cleaning and less sensitivity to field slopes. Clean grain is the goal at the end of the day, the Challenger 500E Series has been designed with this in mind and does so without the complexity of other machines.

V-Cool

The industry leading V-Cool system automatically reverses the cooling fan at predetermined intervals, and automatically adjusts fan speed based on engine temperature. The V-Cool system results in reduced downtime, increased capacity with decreased fuel usage.

Powered Grain Saver

The industry exclusive powered grain saver option eliminates grain “dribble” out of the unloading auger during and after engagement. This factory installed option simply mounts on the end of the unload auger tube and automatically rotates the spout up or down when the unload auger is in or out. Saving on spills means more more money on the bottom line.
