Case IH CM Series crop mergers can efficiently combine two to three swaths from 9 ft. to 18 ft. (2.7 m to 5.5 m) cuts, increasing the crop volume in a windrow to match high-capacity forage harvesters and making every pass more productive. Plus, utilizing forage equipment more efficiently improves profitability by lowering production costs through reduced labor, fuel and wheel traffic. And Case IH CM mergers distribute material smoothly and evenly, thanks to a heavy-duty, 42-in. (107-cm)-wide, ribbed cross conveyor.

Case IH CM Series crop mergers offer three models in center-pull, fixed-tongue/side-pull or hydraulic swing-tongue configurations.

Fixed-Tongue Model

For smaller operations, the economical, hydraulically driven center-pull CM109 crop merger has a merging capability of 9 ft.–12 ft. (2.7 m–3.66 m).

Optional 2-ft. (0.6-m) extension can be added to merge a 14-ft. (4.3-m) cut area
Can be operated with a 70-hp (52-kW) tractor using one remote
Standard hitch for transport

Hydraulic Swing-Tongue Models

The 9-ft. (2.7 m) CM209 and 12-ft. (3.66 m) CM212 models feature a side-pull, hydraulic swing-tongue design and can merge up to 12 ft. (3.66 m).

Extensions can be added to expand the merge area up to 18 ft. (5.5 m)
The hydraulic swing tongue allows the tractor to operate to the left side of the windrow or swath being picked up
The tractor-mounted electric control box manipulates the tongue swing and pickup raising and lowering
Can be operated with a 70-hp (52-kW) tractor equipped with two remotes, with one having at least 16 gpm flow at 2000 psi hydraulic pressure
        For those without adequate hydraulic flow on the tractor, an optional, self-contained hydraulic pump drive kit with a PTO pump can be installed
The roller windguard mounted forward of the pickup pre-compresses crop as it engages the pickup teeth

Case IH CM crop merger models use a floating pickup that features replaceable, three-prong teeth to deliver crop evenly to an extra-wide, 42-in. (107-cm)-wide ribbed cross conveyor

The belt delivers crop to the right side for merging and easily accommodates a massive flow of material
Pickup and conveyor speed adjust simultaneously for smooth crop flow
The high rear conveyor panel prevents overflow and spillage
The anti-wrap system on the conveyor bearings prevents crop from wrapping and damaging bearing seals
Compared to raking, the crop merger lifts crop onto a belt so the crop is never dragged along the ground
        Leaf loss is reduced, and less stones and soil end up in the crop

Easily switch direction of the merging crop from the right to the left using the optional inverter chute
and switching two quick-connect hydraulic hoses
Two standard gauge wheels can be adjusted to field or crop height by simply removing and reinstalling two pins
